On a bright and beautiful day, we embarked on an unforgettable journey to Niagara Falls with 100 seniors, made possible through the generous support of the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) and in partnership with Toronto Police and Ansaar Foundation. Two buses filled with excitement and laughter set off for a full day of sightseeing, delicious food, and cherished moments. Our seniors explored Queenston Heights, the iconic Flower Clock, the serene Butterfly Conservatory, and both the American and Canadian Falls. The breathtaking views and refreshing mist of the falls made the experience truly magical.
No trip is complete without good food! We enjoyed a traditional Indian dal-rice dish for lunch, Indian chai with snacks for midday tea, and a delicious dinner at Watan Kebab in Mississauga. Every meal was a moment of connection, warmth, and shared joy. This trip was more than just sightseeing—it was about creating memories, building friendships, and celebrating our incredible seniors. A huge thank you to the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP), Toronto Police, and Ansaar Foundation for making this day possible! We look forward to more adventures ahead!
