At Markham and Lawrence Community United (MLCU), we are incredibly grateful for the support of the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP). This grant has made a tremendous impact on the lives of our senior community, allowing us to provide engaging and exciting experiences that promote socialization, wellness, and joy. Thanks to NHSP funding, our seniors have had the opportunity to embark on memorable trips that have enriched their lives:

✅ Niagara Falls – A breathtaking trip where our seniors enjoyed the stunning views, explored the surrounding attractions, and created cherished memories together. ✅ Toronto Zoo – A day filled with adventure, learning about wildlife, and connecting with nature in a fun and interactive way. ✅ Ripley’s Aquarium – A mesmerizing experience, where our seniors marveled at the wonders of the ocean, from vibrant tropical fish to graceful jellyfish. ✅ Bowling Fun – A lively and engaging activity that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit while fostering laughter and connection.

These experiences wouldn’t have been possible without the support of NHSP, which enables us to continue creating opportunities for seniors to stay active, connected, and engaged in our community.
